Best Dressed: Down Royal Festival of Racing

This weekend saw the 20th Down Royal Festival of Racing take place with two full days of fantastic action both on and off the track. 

Winners included First Approach who took the first race of the weekend with the Events Maiden Hurdle while Bedrock won The WKD Grade 2 Hurdle – the biggest pay out of the first day. 

Eamonn Carr from Armagh took home Most Stylishly Dressed Male on day one winning a crate of WKD from the sponsors of the Grade 2 Hurdle as well as a £1,000 bespoke suit and tailoring experience from Suitor Brothers Belfast.

Day two of the Down Royal Festival of Racing continued with the JNwine.com Ladies Day on Saturday 03 November where there was plenty of excitement on site, including the JNwine.com Champion Chase and the presentation of the 20th JNwine.com Ladies Day Most Stylishly Dressed Lady winner.

The aforementioned 2018 Billecart-Salmon Most Stylishly Dressed Lady was awarded to Shileen McConville from Lurgan at the JNwine.com Ladies day, day two of the 20th Down Royal Festival of Racing.

The much sought after prize, which also celebrated the 200th anniversary of the famous Billecart-Salmon Champagne House includes travelling to Paris for two nights, before travelling to Mareuil-sur-Aÿ to stay at the Billecart-Salmon Champagne House, enjoying an overnight stay, dinner at the 17th century house and a tour of the vineyards. 

Shileen’s winning outfit was a gorgeous racing great ensemble from The Snooty Fox in Dungannon.
