He has also toured mainland Europe and Canada with the critically acclaimed ensemble ‘Anúna’ featuring on two albums ‘Illumination’ and as a soloist on the album ‘Revelation’. He has shared the stage with the likes of Glen Hansard, Hozier, Moyà Brennan and Daniel O’Donnell.

A choral highlight was performing Michael Tippet’s ‘A Child Of Our Time’ for the ‘BBC Proms’ at ‘The Royal Albert Hall’, London in 2012.

Star of the RTE2 Series ‘Exiles: Vancouver’ he quickly made his presence known performing at ‘The Vancouver Film Festival’ and later being asked to perform at the ‘Grey Cup final’ in memory of the legendary NHL player and coach ‘Joe Quinn’.

Critics have called his performances ‘Spine-tingling’ (joe.ie), ‘Powerful’ (PureM Magazine), ‘Tender and Triumphant’ (The Chicago Tribune), ‘He can sing, properly’ (The Independent)

He has performed in London at the invitation of Irish Ambassador to the UK, Adrian O’Neill, to commemorate and celebrate the memory of David Allen and the success of writer Lisa McGee for ‘Derry Girls’. Other dignitaries and artists he has been invited to sing for include former Irish Prime Minster Enda Kenny, actor and writer Roma Downey (Touched by an Angel) singer/songwriter Moyà Brennan (Clannad).

George returns to the USA with the new Columbia Artists Production ‘Songs of Ireland: A Celtic Celebration’ in February 2019 and he is currently working on his debut album with renowned producer and musician Paul Casey, which is set for a January 2019 release.

George encompasses that of an extremely versatile performer. Having received classical training under the tutelage of tenors Ciáran Kelly, Eoin O’Callaghan and Benito Rodriguez he has developed a depth of control that allows him to sing across a great range of musical genres.
