This marks a significant development for the business and validates its ability to offer quality, immersive and now globally recognized accreditations; assisting all makeup artists to compete at the highest level within the beauty industry.

From the new bespoke ten-week training course, students can expect a highly intensive and interactive course that focuses on self-development and continual improvements. By enabling makeup artists to push their skills and development, the course includes learning key aspects of and techniques behind artistry; how to utilize colours, trends, techniques, and methods to push artistic skills to the maximum.

With 15 years of educating students under their belt, Make Up Pro Store and the Paddy McGurgan Academy have produced some of the most accomplished and recognized makeup artists across the industry. Through the launch of their new course, they hope to continue with this success and aim to push students to reach their full potential through expertise and teaching skills provided by the team and the course, further amplifying the career progression of the next generation of artists.

The course itself, ITEC (International Therapy Examination) is one that is globally recognized and provides leading international qualifications across many sectors including; Beauty and Spa Therapy, Sports and Fitness Training and Customer Service.

Owner of Make Up Pro Store and make-up artist Paddy McGurgan says, “Industry standards are ever-changing, and the breadth of skill required is evolving. I want my students to progress through their careers with passion and the confidence that they have been skilled to the highest level, with the ability to perform and compete on a global stage. My core belief is that you educate to elevate.

“Many of my past students, Ciara McKeown, Louise Lavery, Olivia Muldoon, Stevey Lennox, Ailin Traynor, Roisin Doherty and many more have had worldwide success due to their skills, passion and work ethic. With our new ITEC accredited course, it will open so many more opportunities for students to travel as far as Australia, American and Canada and their training will be acknowledged globally.”
